Student Event Services

Looking for a student server to work your event?  The Student Event Services (SES) team, which is composed of Harvard graduate students who are certified crowd managers and TIPs certificatipon, is designed to ensure the responsible and safe consumption of alcohol on campus. Our servers are trained in beer and wine service, as well as ID-ing and wristbanding. 

Undergraduate student groups having alcohol at an event (outside the CQH) must use a Student Event Services (SES) team to serve alcohol.  Servers may be hired by any Harvard department or student organization for work on Harvard's Cambridge campus (Harvard owned and operated buildings only, no private residences) during the academic year. 

To request SES staff for your on-campus event, please fill out the SES Request Form.

We request a week's notice for confirmation of staffing. We try our best to fulfill last minute requests, but cannot guarantee staffing. Any requests which that come within a week's time from the event time, a final decision regarding fulfillment will be made 48 hours before your event. Any event requests within 48 hours of event will not be accepted.
