No. Due to safety and liability restraints and licensing from government agencies we cannot allow outside food or beverages into the pub. The only exceptions to this are our exclusive caterer: Crimson Catering for private rental functions, and daytime Fly By use, as both fall under Harvard's umbrella.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and AmEx (sorry, NO Diners Club or Discover), Crimson Cash, Board Plus and 33 digit codes (only when booked in advance). Checks are only accepted with pre-arrangements for private rental events.
Everyone must show a Harvard ID when entering, with the exception of guests of Harvard Affiliates and alums. If you are drinking alcoholic beverages, you must also show a state issued ID or a passport. If you are not planning on consuming alcoholic beverages while at the pub, you do not need to show a state ID or passport.
We require both a state accepted and valid ID (driver's license, passport, MA liquor ID card, or US military ID) as well as your Harvard University ID. We reserve the right to refuse entrance to anyone based on intoxication or IDs that are unacceptable. We may require additional back up IDs. We do NOT accept as proof of age: foreign drivers licenses, International Student ID cards, HUID, credit cards, expired documents of any kind.
